Tutorial-Suite.Com is Building it's momentum
|
First let me introduce myself my name is Vadim K,
even though i got many other names (some less flattering then others).
Anyway now that we have met it is time for me to tell you that Tutorial-Suite.com earned itself two Administrators (Ops) Geimas5 who you might have met before and myself.
After we finished establishing that i am a funny guy lets get to the news, We decided to do abit of remodeling and updating on the site. So please spare us the emails asking us what is going on with the site and why are we not updating it. I don`t want to point fingers but lets just say that Geimas5 was alon here for a while.
If you still want to point at something then point to our Donations button on the right side of the screen to help us pay the costs of keeping the site afloat.

New tutorials comming soon!

You might have noticed that we have been a bit “lax” on posting new tutorials lately, this is due to the fact that we have been spending a lot of time lately to learn new technologies, in order to be able to write tutorials in the upcoming major technologies, such as Windows Presentation foundation (formerly Avalon), Windows vista (formerly longhorn),Office 2007 , Windows Mobile 5.0(not that new), and more. So expect tutorials within these subjects to be released within the next few weeks.

We are now accepting staff.

Ok here is the deal. Me and Giemas have alot of projects that we have going on at the same time. I know that isnt actually a good thing but we like what we do. Anyways we need people that can make various tutorials that actually help people. We are looking for tutorials in all levels from very basic to very advanced. We need tutorials that deal with pritty much anything as long as it deals with the internet and computers. If you can make good informative tutorials on programs that you use then that would be usefull. We are looking for people that can make text tutorial and people that can make video tutorials. If you make video tutorial you are required to use a mic so that you can discribe what you are doing. If we get a video with no talking then we will not use it. We are also looking for people that can help with coding certain systems and other things for the site. Also we are looking for people that can advertice the site. Any staff on this site might be working for gurustyles.com also (which is I guess you can say sister site of tutorial suit).
What we can offer staff members will be determened after Giemas and I think about it.
If you want to apply for any position then -email- with the subject (Tutorial-Suite Staff)
In the email you must include any contact info.(msn messanger, yahoo messanger, aim, skype, email, etc.)
You must also include what you are applying for and discribe your abilities. If we think you can cut it then we will contact you and let you show us what you can do. If you have something ready to show us then that would make the prosess quicker. Anything submited must be your work.
Anything stated here may be changed if an admin feels it needed.

browser incompatebility
|
We have gotten allot of complaints lately on the fact that this site don’t look correctly in browsers such as FireFox, Please note that resolving this issue is a top priority, and we hope to have this issue resolved soon.

New Host
|
We have gotten a new host!
We where initially up for about a week or two on the new host before some problems forced us to use a old backup, so changes that have been made in the last two weeks, have not been recovered(and never will be).
We have lost hours of work because of this, but I think we're starting to get back on track.
We hope you will enjoy our new host, we surely will.

New Service!!

We have just now added knowledge base to our expanding list of services.
Due to remarks on that this site have appeared inactive, it was decided that the knowledge base should be publicly announced before it was originally planed. as a result of this the index(at this date) is not very impressive, but we will add more content at a continuous basis, the design is also not very impressive.
If you like to help with the content in the knowledge base, just E-Mail me at Geimas5@gmail.com and i will create an account for you, so that you can add content without supervision.(appropriate credit will be given to entries made.)
